Shopify can be very restrictive about how subscription products can be added to the cart, and many of the tools available to you to make a "Buy button", or a "Buy link" in Shopify will not work with subscription products.
We've created a way around this limitation, by allowing you to generate a "Buy link" for your membership plan. This buy link will essentially be a URL that you can use in a link, or a button. If a customer follows this link, it will result in the membership being added to the cart directly.
Navigate to the Plans menu of the app
Inside each plan, you'll see a list of all the "Length" options that you've created for that plan.
Next to each Length, you'll see a button called "Generate a buy link"
When you click this button, you'll be shown a menu that will let you configure how that buy link functions. You can choose whether you want the customer redirected to the Cart page, or the Checkout page. You can also add a Shopify discount code to the link, which will result in that discount code being added to the order along with the membership.
When you've configured these choices the way that you want, you can copy the provided URL or HTML.
The URL will be a direct path to adding the membership to the cart. You can use this link on a custom button in the Shopify theme editor, or any other method you like.
The HTML code will add a standard HTML hypertext link, so you can add it to your theme code, or the HTML code of any webpage.
