There are several built-in rules that will determine what content on your store is available only to members. To enable a rule for your members, open the app, click on the Plans page, create or edit an existing membership plan, and scroll down to the Rules section.

If you don't see a rule that you need, let us know and we'll see if there is a way to solve your requirement

When a rule is enabled, if a non-member tries to view the page or content you're hiding, they will see the Restricted Content message that you can customize on the Settings page in the app.

This rule should work for most stores without any additional configuration. In this context, when we say "Pages", we mean additional pages that you have configured on your store, under Online Store > Pages.

This rule is similar to the one above, but you can select the specific page you would like to restrict. This is great if you have a members-only landing page where you link to all the products / content that members have access to.

Turning on this rule will restrict all blog and blog post pages to members only.

If you have a free blog, and a members-only blog, you can easily hide only one of the blogs from non-members.

Note: some themes allow you to view all blog titles on one page. To restrict the members-only blog from displaying, contact us.

If you would like to restrict specific blog posts (aka articles) to members, turn this rule on and the post will automatically be restricted.

Turning this on will disable displaying any product or collection page on your store for non-members.

Note: some themes have advanced search options which may need to be updated, or other apps which display products. Contact us if you require assistance with hiding products everywhere.

Similar to the rule above, this applies to one or more products on your store. This rule will automatically prevent the product page from loading for these products.

Note: if you need to prevent these products from being displayed in collections lists or search results, contact us.

Similar to the rule about specific products, this will prevent a specific collection page from being loaded.

Note: this also hides the products within that collection automatically. If you need help hiding the collection elsewhere, contact us.

This rule requires additional work on all themes. Because prices can appear in many different places on the store, we recommend requesting assistance with this.
