Simplee Memberships contains a new feature to allow your members to upgrade or downgrade to other membership plans/tiers offered on your store through the My Membership portal page.

Currently this feature is only available available through the My Membership portal page available at the storename.com/tools/memberships URL on your store, and it is not yet available through the new Portal page extension offered within the Customer Account page. Please reach out to our support team if you need help determining which page you're using.
βStep 1: Enable the feature
Go to the Settings menu inside the app
Scroll down to the Upgrades & Downgrades section
Enable the checkbox called "Allow members to upgrade or downgrade their memberships"
Click save on the top of the page
Step 2: Enable the option to upgrade/downgrade on the plans that you want to be available for upgrading or downgrading
Go to the Plans menu in the app
Click the edit button on the plan that you want to offer as an option for members to upgrade or downgrade to
Checkmark the option called "Advanced membership options"
Enable the toggle button called "Allow members to upgrade or downgrade to this plan"
Repeat these steps for any other plans or tiers that you want to offer this option for
Now your customers will have an option to change their plan in the Portal page. Below the section that displays the name of their current plan, they will see a "Change" button. Upon pressing this button, they'll be shown a menu to choose the other plans that are eligible for changing to. After making their choice, the change will be saved.
What to expect to see on the Admin interface

If you've configured the Upgrade/downgrade feature to perform the upgrade or downgrade immediately, you will expect to see a new activity log entry added to this member's profile in the app to tell you that they changed plans.

If you've configured the Upgrade/downgrade feature to delay the change until their next renewal, nothing will appear in their profile until that future date. When their next renewal happens, you'll see an activity log entry on their profile at that point to confirm the change happened.
