Shopify recently enabled the ability for app developers to sell subscription products via Shopify POS, and we've updated Simplee Memberships to allow merchants to sell memberships via Shopify POS.
To enable the ability to sell your Membership plans via Shopify POS, only a few steps are needed.
Enable the Simplee POS Memberships extension
Go to the Point of Sale menu in your Shopify store
Open the Settings menu, and choose POS App
Open the Apps menu on the top of the page
Enable the Simplee POS Memberships toggle switch
Click Save
Edit the Membership Product to allow POS purchasing
Find your membership product in the Products menu in Shopify
Remove the checkmark in the setting called "Only sell this product with these purchase options"
In the Publishing menu, enable the toggle switch for "Point of sale"
After completing these steps, within about 10-15 minutes, the Membership product should now appear in the Shopify POS app as a product that can be purchased. When you sell the product to a customer, you will see options available to choose the membership plan that you want to sell to the customer.
Make sure to sell the membership using a Credit Card, as other POS payment types (such as Cash) will not allow your member to make automatic renewal payments.
